Business Administration Traineeship

Skillinvest offers a fantastic opportunity to work within the Victorian Public Service in this 12 month entry level position. These opportunities are funded through the Youth Employment Scheme (YES), available to participants aged 15 to 29 . As part of this program, the chosen candidate will undertake study towards a Certificate 3 in Business, work full time whilst being supported by Skillinvest Consultant. These vacancies are available in Dandenong, Frankston and Morwell.

Duties will include:

• Answer and respond to incoming phone call and enquiries
• Receive visitors and clients when they arrive at the office
• Co-ordinate administrative duties and prioritise tasks
• File correspondence and other records
• Data Entry and other administrative tasks
• Action and respond to email correspondences
• Process invoices and claims
• General office duties including support for staff events
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Warm and friendly manner & communication
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Willingness to commit to work and study
• Organisational and time management skills
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Willing to obtain and provide a current Police Check prior to employment
