Business Advisor & Tax Accountant - Intermediate

We provide visa 482 sponsorship to the successful candidates who requires the sponsorship. 

Our “thing” is providing exceptional accounting, taxation, and advisory services to both small and large clients, our relationships are deep-set and we offer a level of customer service that keeps our clients with us for many years. 

We are currently seeking a motivated and talented accountant from intermediate level who has the potential to be trained to a supervisor role to join our friendly team. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, some are listed below, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. Once you are up and running we will take your career to the next level.

• Preparing income tax returns and financial statements for individuals, sole traders, companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds.
• Preparing Business Activity Statements and state tax returns, such as payroll tax and land tax.
• Researching and consulting on a range of tax issues and drafting tax advice for our managers and partners.
• Liaising with the ATO, OSR, clients, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in Accounting from an Australian institution and be working towards your CA/CPA qualification.
• At least 2+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
• Strong and proven cloud-based software skills, including Excel, Xero, and MYOB. Have working experience with FYI will be a bonus.
