About this opportunity:
We are looking for a creative and driven Business Analyst to join our Finance team. You will use your strong analytical and out of the box thinking to advise and support decision making through strategic insights and provide assistance and recommendations to the business on efficiencies and business improvement.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Manage, foster, and develop relationships with our industry partners to provide ICC Sydney with efficient service and improve business outcomes.
- Develop reporting tools based on both financial and non-financial information for users across the business to enable departments to greater understand their operations.
- Assist the Business Systems team in coordinating systems involving the technical and informational base of the business.
- Acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process
- Ad Hoc involvement in projects.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor qualification or higher in accounting, business or data discipline.
- Practical experience with SQL, Python, Power Query (Essential)
- Experience within a finance position in a large and complex organisation.
- Efficiency in communicating complex information to staff at different levels.
- Working knowledge or experience within the Hospitality or Events sector advantageous.
- Efficiency and confidence in communicating complex information to stakeholders of varying knowledge levels.
- Must be experienced in and able to demonstrate proficiency with finance software applications
- High standard of documentation and excel reporting skills.
- 3 years’ experience in a comparable finance or business operations role.

Salary: $85,000 to $95,000 per annum plus superannuation
