About the Role
Due to an exciting period of change, we are seeking a Business Analyst who is willing to learn the business and deliver a customer experience that shows their needs are at the heart of everything we do. Working alongside a small in-house team and contractors, you will be eager to further enhance our systems, design elegant solutions and contribute to business growth.
This opportunity offers a Business Analyst the chance to work on a mix of existing and new projects within a fast paced and dynamic company.
Success in this role will see you defining requirements and designing solutions to deliver high quality web applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Creating detailed business analysis documentation, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business.
- Evaluate and document key business processes, policies and reporting mechanisms and recommend/implement improvement where possible.
- Undertake the logical investigation, analysis, review, and documentation of terms of business functions and processes.
- Identify and define Business and technical requirements for the use of technology to improve any aspect of the processes and systems and quantification of potential business benefits.
- Create viable specifications and acceptance criteria in preparation for the development and implementation of applications/systems.
- Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts.
Your Skills
Required:
- Experience as a Business Analyst (3-5years), particularly in high value Payments
- Experience working in agile projects
- Tertiary degree relating to IT
- Understanding of SDLC, agile development methodologies, enterprise architecture principles, and user experience (UX) design
- Demonstrates a deep passion and knowledge of informational products and transactional websites
Desired:
- Experience within the Conveyancing or Land Registration industry
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud technologies.
- Experience as a Scrum Master
- Experience with Power BI or similar Business Intelligence solutions
- Fundamental knowledge of secure coding processes, application security and security protocols.
Your Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business or technology related field or equivalent work experience.
