Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of Stores Technology at Kmart Australia? We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our Stores Technology team, where we are dedicated to supporting our existing core systems and further enhancing our technology platforms and creating a seamless experience for both customers and our team members.
What You Will Be Doing:
Performing systems analysis and mapping for existing and new systems.
Facilitating discovery sessions for new feature development and translating them into functional specifications.
Breaking down features into developmental chunks and transposing them into Jira.
Assisting in triaging production incidents and providing solutions.
Collaborating with both the business and technology teams to define the requirements and ensure alignment with the objectives.
Working closely with stakeholders to understand the business processes and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
Utilizing your strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Applying your excellent problem solving and analytical skills to solve various business and technical issues.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have the Following:
Demonstrated experience as a technical Business Analyst and must be well versed in product life cycle, MVP, iterative development, and systems analysis.
Strong systems analysis skill to interpret complex monolith systems.
Experience in process and systems mapping tools.
Facilitate discovery session for new feature development.
Experience in Jira or similar project management tools.
Experience in triaging production incidents.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
Display excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Outstanding stakeholder management and clear and concise communication skills.
Establishing and building strong relationships with other technical partners (i.e. mainframe, etc.).
Retail industry experience would be desirable but not necessary.
