Team and Role Overview
Calypso SaaS provides the Calypso Application in a secure, robust, and redundant hosted environment with the availability of all Core Calypso Interfaces and data transfer with external parties and internal systems via Secure FTP or Real-Time Messaging, while also performing regular software upgrades and maintenance. SaaS Support serves as the single point of contact for all issues and SaaS clients. We are seeking a senior functional and/or technical SaaS Support Analyst with experience gained in the Capital Markets industry working for a software vendor, consultancy, and/or trading floor. This should include production support of Front and/or Middle Office Systems in one or more of the following: Fixed Income, FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, or Risk.
Responsibilities
- You will work directly with users of the Calypso system to ensure proper scoping, implementation, go-live, upgrade, and production daily use of the mainly front office solutions used by SaaS customers
- Be hands-on with the system integration teams to guide and help configure and test the systems and environments to ensure that they meet the business requirements. This will include areas such as testing of market data, including zero curves, probability curves, correlation matrices, dividend curves, etc
- Assist customers in identifying functional gaps in the core front office product, and to create detailed functional specifications for the gaps
- Manage issues track the timeline of bug resolution development deliverables, and keep the customer informed of progress.
- Co-own deployment of developments into SaaS client Environments, including identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, timeline and scheduling, and resource requirements
- Provide partial Production Support by managing complex product and Environment issues related to the installation, use, and maintenance of Calypso products such as investigating logs, code, database queries, etc
- Solid experience in systems business analysis, preferably in the Capital Markets industry with Production Support responsibilities
- Experience with our platform or other internal/ external platforms on front-to-back office systems (such as Murex, Kondor, Lumina) is essential
- Technically self-sufficiency - the ability to read code will be highly valued with Java and/or Python preferred
- Strong ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities. Should be able to translate front office or back office business requirements into actual system configuration
- Prepared to work shift patterns and occasionally weekends to support our clients
