One of Australia’s primary Federal Government Departments is looking to engage a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join their fast paced, supportive team while working from home.The ideal Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the chair in the creation and review of Data Standards for project implementation. The successful Business Analyst will secure a 12-month contract with 2x12-month extension options partnered a lucrative pay rate and working from home.
The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Defining business problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information.
- Contributing to the development and support of business information in order to aid project participant implementations.
- Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements, identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions
- Outlining business impacts, simplifying information so it is easily understood.
- Delivery and implementation of the Consumer Data Standards.
The successful Business Analyst will have experience in the following:
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in business analysis or related fields.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions, including excellent documentation skills, synthesising effective reports, and giving influential presentations.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills, especially as demonstrated in successfully supporting projects.
- Experience working in complex or large-scale digital transformation programs in Government in an Agile delivery process (e.g. Scrum or similar).
