About the Opportunity
Working closely with the Senior Business Analyst and Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating business and reporting needs, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
This is a newly created role that will support Fyfe’s significant and strategic growth targets over the next 5 years. Being a new role there is scope for you to make your mark on the wider business by making this role your own.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and improve business reporting.
- Develop and monitor data quality metrics to ensure business data and reporting needs are met.
- Produce financial metrics, graphs, and insights to support decision-making processes.
- Analyse financial data and provide valuable insights to drive decision-making.
- Support the Business Unit General Managers in extracting data from our inhouse systems, producing reports using Power BI to provide timely insights into results.
- Produce financial modelling.
- Review annual budgets and rolling forecasts to track performance against strategic objectives.
- Work with the IT department and end system users to ensure correct data is being recorded.
Your background and experience:
To fulfil the requirements of this role you have high attention to detail and can demonstrate your analytical skills and passion for reporting and analysis, along with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting and/or Finance
- 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Power BI, macros, and advanced Excel skills are essential for this role.
- Ability to influence stakeholders to determine and implement effective solutions
- Highly self-motivated with effective time management and organisational skills
