Business Analyst - Healthcare

Meditech Staffing are a well-established, experienced Sydney and Central Coast based service provider, specialising in aged care and disability support in the home or within an existing care facility. Based in Strathfield we support the coordination of services to community clients in the Aged and Disability sector to assist them live their best lives!

Duties:

• Identifying and documenting current business processes to create baseline understanding of current situation and processes.
• Creating and facilitating process design improvements by conducting business and systems process analysis.
• Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
• Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
• Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
• Supporting forward looking finance activities including budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
• Sharing actionable insights such as continuous improvement opportunities, benchmark comparisons, and
• Supporting business case development

To be successful in this role, you will need 

• High level of structured and critical thinking to synthesise data from several systems and map those into receiving system. Understanding transformation requirements.
• Work extensively with business to identify data which requires cleaning and proactively solutioning how to lessen the business load required to clean data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring a common understanding of business needs and priorities
• In conjunction with input from the organisation and operational teams, lead the crafting of functional designs that can both be understood by the business and actioned by the operational teams.
• Strong ability to identify areas for optimisation and enhancement Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories

Qualifications

• Proven track record in the role of a Business Analyst with a focus on functional analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• High proficiency with SQL, Python, and database management
• Experience in analytics and data visualisation (PowerBI and other BI tools)
• Good understanding of API and API Integration concepts
• Advanced understanding of Agile development practices
• Previous experience working with software development teams
• Experience in design & implementation for digital platforms and/or cloud technologies
• Track record of working in a fast-paced collaborative cross-functional environment
