We are looking for a Business Analyst who is experienced in analysing and identifying business needs and improvements, to assist with driving efficiencies across internal processes and improving technology platforms and products.
You'll be responsible for gathering requirements, documenting process, design and architecture, and have strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. If you are knowledgeable in business process improvement, software development life cycle methodologies, and experience in creating commercial business cases to understand the ROI of opportunities, please apply!
Day to day:
- Facilitate Sprint ceremonies, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Writing User Stories/Acceptance Criteria, Dev/Design workshops
- Develop and maintain business requirements and system documentation
- Build, participate and grow a community of practice
- Develop use cases and process flows to support the development of software solutions
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and pain points
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are aligned with business goals
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams
- Create business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support business opportunities
- Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure that solutions meet business requirements
- 2+ years professional experience in a technical Business Analyst role
- Experience in Agile/Scrum framework/tools (JIRA, Confluence etc)
- Agile Certification recommended
- Experience in Mobile App space advantageous
- Experience within travel, retail or other internet-scale environments
- Strong facilitation skills
- Good quality documentation skills, both technical and non-technical
- Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
