About the role
Our client has created the Passenger Transport Strategy and Technology division, tasked with implementing cutting-edge IT solutions to enhance public transportation system.
The Business Analyst will apply their proven expertise and abilities to produce various BA deliverables, such as:
- Problem Identification/Situation Assessment
- Analysis of Present and Future States
- Evaluation of Business Options
- Engineering of Business Requirements
- LEAN Business Process Redesign
- Analysis of Business Impact and Stakeholders
- Supporting the ICT Development Lifecycle
Responsibilities
- Identifying, analyzing, and formulating precise requirements to fulfill business and end-user requirements and foster shared understanding among stakeholders.
- Planning, creating, and delivering BA outputs, tailoring documentation to the relevant audience, and proactively resolving issues.
- Identifying and tackling opportunities for enhancing business operations based on the analysis.
- Presenting ideas in a clear and concentrated manner, utilizing narrative, process diagrams, role and accountability charts, and business-oriented storyboards.
- Aiding in defining, analyzing, procuring, building/configuring, testing, training, and implementing solutions.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, contributing to significant technology-driven transformation initiatives, with a preference for exposure to government environments.
- Proficiency in delivering presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and effectively managing client expectations.
- Ability to elucidate technological concepts in a manner comprehensible to stakeholders, while grasping the business implications of change and providing requisite assistance.
- Expertise in utilizing industry-standard modeling tools and methodologies.
- Experience operating within Prince2 environments, focusing on the delivery of IT-enabled solutions.
- Familiarity and experience with contributing to procurement processes, spanning from preparation to contract award, is advantageous.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong capabilities in relationship-building, stakeholder management, and vendor engagement, alongside the capacity to excel under pressure.
- Experience collaborating closely with vendors to discern requirements and implement solutions.
