As our Business Analyst, you won't just be a part of the team – you'll be the heartbeat of our finance team, playing a key role in the process.
You will collaborate within a team of independent accountants and analysts and support the delivery of major Finance objectives as we work towards Journey’s strategic growth plans.
This is a Full-time opportunity, Monday to Friday 38 hours per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Manager in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts. This includes the analysis and review of controllable costs, preparation of monthly Centre and Department reporting;
- Month end processing and close including P&L and Balance Sheet;
- Support the Finance Manager in delivering the yearly budgets which includes reviewing and completing assumptions, drivers, metrics and updating the financial model;
- Ensure that Budgets are loaded accurately and timely into Netsuite;
- Provide financial analysis to support and inform the Leadership Team to develop and deliver the strategic plan;
- Identify opportunities to deliver streamline reporting and supporting the businesses through the development of Power BI reporting;
What we're searching for:
- Proactive, team player, driven, results orientated and reliable;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong excel skills is a must; ad
- Modelling experience preferred
- Experience in Netsuite and/or Power BI is a bonus
Qualification:
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; and
- CPA/CA qualified or working towards being CPA/CA qualified
