An opportunity exists for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Group Transformation Office (GTO) and Project Management Office (PMO) at Crown Resorts. This role is pivotal to the function and is responsible for leading the analysis and evaluation of various business processes, systems and strategies across each of our properties. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Program Manager and will be deal directly with various workstreams, leading analysts and collaborating with stakeholders across different departments to drive business growth and efficiency.
This is a 12-month, fixed-term contract and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, execute the elicitation of requirements, define project objectives, and highlight success measures
Conduct thorough analysis of existing business systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Develop and implement effective strategies and solutions to enhance business performance and efficiency
Create comprehensive business cases, business requirement documents, functional specifications, and use cases to guide development teams
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate understanding and translation of requirements
Perform risk assessments and impact analyses to identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans
Lead, mentor and coach new analysts within the team
Key selection criteria:
Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst, with leadership experience advantageous
Strong proficiency in business analysis tools, methodologies, and techniques
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
Strong understanding of business processes and systems, with the ability to identify areas for improvement
Experience in a project management environment, using methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Lean
Experience in creating Tableau or Power BI / automated reports
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
