Business Analyst – Workforce Systems

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to work within their facilities located in Perth, Australia.

The Company

A global operator of resources looking to combine their Workforce Systems of several of their business units to have one global view of demand and supply.
 

The Role

You will be a key member to the team to implement a Global Workforce Planning (WFP) Solution to align workforce demand with supply and clearly identify gaps.

This is a Perth based contracting role on an initial 12-month contract with some WFH flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Engage key stakeholders to define the solution requirements in line with the workforce planning process.
• Work with solution architects to validate that the candidate solution architecture satisfies the requirements.
• Conduct internal company and external market scans to identify potential existing solutions and offerings.
• Work with key stakeholders to decide on a build, buy, or reuse & modify approach or a combination.
• If buy approach is selected, define the product selection criteria, define vendor shortlist, conduct product evaluation against the criteria, and select preferred vendor.
• Work with technical specialists to ensure the detailed designs meet the functional and non-functional (system) requirements.
• Support the implementation teams to clarify requirements and ensure the solution is built and configured to meet the functional and non-functional (system) requirements.
• Engage key users to ensure the solution being implemented is fit for purpose.
• Define the User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans & coordinate successful completion of UAT.
• Work with Solution Architect and technology support teams to validate that the solution is effectively handed over for ongoing support.
• Conduct WFP process and system training and embedment activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in defining and delivering business system solutions.
• Experience in Workforce systems highly beneficial.
• Perth based with full working Australian rights.

Qualifications

A tertiary qualification is preferred.
