About the Role
The Business Architect (EL1) role is a Fulltime ongoing position. The purpose of this role is to proactively apply Business Architecture practices to enable the Agency to create value for the Australian public through the delivery of safe and trusted digital health products and services. This is a crucial Executive Level 1 role that calls for an individual who is proactive, motivated, and intentional.
We are seeking a skilled Business Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in aligning business strategies with technology solutions, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness. The Business Architect will analyse and design business processes, structures, and capabilities to drive organizational success.
This position is tasked with driving business transformation and supervising key outputs, including business capability models, business capabilities, and value streams. The primary duty of a Business Architect is leading the architecture of new organisations or re-architecting aspects of existing ones.
Skills and Experience
The following Knowledge, Skills and Experience will be super beneficial to hit the ground running in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Proficiency in business process modelling tools and techniques and with various Enterprise Architecture tools.
- Proven experience as a Business Architect or in a similar role, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate business needs into actionable plans.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management to build and maintain positive relationships to ensure alignment and successful delivery of architectural projects.

Eligibility
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Neg Vet 1 security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.
- Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
- Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.

Salary: $111,611 to $127,294 plus 15.4% Superannuation (total remuneration options are available)
