The Opportunity
As a Business Development Associate at Dexus you will be part of the investor Relations and Distribution teams, which are a core function within the Funds Management team at Dexus. You will be part of the Capital team planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies, equity raisings, distribution of existing products and a variety of investor relations activities for existing and prospective institutional real estate and infrastructure products on the Dexus platform.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors across a number of institutional real estate and infrastructure products
- Support in the execution of equity raisings across the existing Dexus Institutional Capital product suite and marketing new investment opportunities
- Raising awareness of the Dexus platform and products
- Maintaining timely and accurate record keeping of investor discussions and distilling key insights to the business
- Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the Dexus business and Dexus Funds Management products
About You
- Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience within an investor relations or investment environment
- Experience in wholesale investment including a client focussed approach to investment solutions and recommendations
- Proven track record of delivering a range of projects from conception to completion achieving the project goals
- Breath of property knowledge and strong business acumen, financial analysis and feasibility development skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to liaise in a professional manner with external and internal client base and at all levels of the business
- Effective time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Performance orientated, results driven, forward thinking and innovative
