All about the role:
We are currently seeking a Retention Executive (internally known as a BDE - Retention) who will be accountable for engaging with restaurants wanting to leave the platform. Your primary objective will be to proactively address their concerns, resolve any issues they may have, and explore alternative strategies or incentives to retain their partnership.
Through a deep understanding of the reasons behind their decision to end the partnership, your role as a Retention Executive will involve demonstrating compassion and empathy. Your primary focus will be to devise effective solutions that will ultimately retain their business.
In this role, we're counting on you to:
- Proactively reach and retain existing restaurant partners looking to terminate their Menulog Delivery Partnership
- Account management tasks to optimize new and existing partnerships
- Work with restaurants and set expectations around Menulog and maximize restaurant satisfaction
- Work closely with our Business Intelligence and Marketing departments to identify marketing opportunities in low-order zones

- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or sales
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to persuasively sell and present ideas to diverse audiences
- A strong work ethic and a determined attitude to get the job done, no matter what it takes
- Resilience and a mindset focused on achieving targets
- Quick learning abilities and the capacity to think on your feet
- Adaptability to work within tight deadlines while ensuring client objectives are successfully met
