The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of Whitebream Australia's service offerings within the disability support sector. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and promoting the organization's services to expand our client base and reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Generate leads and new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, relationship building, and targeted marketing efforts, including attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including NDIS participants, disability service providers, healthcare professionals, government agencies, and community organizations, to understand their needs and promote Whitebream Australia's services effectively.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market needs, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities within the disability support services sector.
- Business Strategy: Develop and implement strategic Business Development plans and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and brand awareness.
- Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the specific needs and requirements of potential clients, showcasing the value proposition and unique selling points of Whitebream Australia's services.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with organizational goals, financial objectives, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, finance, marketing, and senior management, to ensure seamless service delivery, client satisfaction, and achievement of Business Development targets.
- Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, market trends, and Business Development activities to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with NDIS regulations, quality standards, and ethical guidelines in all Business Development activities and client interactions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, healthcare management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably within the disability support services sector, healthcare industry, or related field.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and securing new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent networking, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
- Experience in developing and delivering persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of NDIS policies, regulations, and funding mechanisms is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
