Business Development Manager
SUMMARY:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for engaging with a diverse range of customers to develop, negotiate and execute strategic business plans in relation to sales initiatives, in addition to maintaining and developing effective business relationships with key decision-makers throughout the industry.
This will be achieved by managing the existing base of customers and identifying local opportunities and developing initiatives to further build sales and profitability to deliver sustainable growth.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key ResponsibilitiesTasksRelationship Management- Stay in regular contact with customers regarding their evolving needs and objectives, developing and maintain positive and effective relationships.
- Manage commercial relationships with all customers to deliver agreed plans and providing advice.
- Build, manage, and continually nurture a pipeline of interested prospects.
- Maintain a solid opportunity pipeline, developing and maintain relationships with existing and new contacts.
- Contribute to actively growing the profitability of the nation, through identifying new customers.
- Build the profile and reach of 4Cabling.
- Identify local market opportunities and develop initiatives to increase and retain members in new market opportunities.
- Generate, explore and develop new business sales and opportunities to improve the sales process.
- Liaise with internal teams and leverage collective genius to maintain an in-depth knowledge of 4Cabling’s services.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant trends and developments.
- Implement systems and processes to track, analyse and report on customer behaviour to help improve the efficiency of sales strategies.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve the Business Development and sales process.
- Conducting all activities in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS)

Qualifications- Degree in Business or related filed is highly desirable.
- 4 years of Data & Fibre Connectivity or sales experience in a related industry or environment.
- Key understanding in Business Development Management.
- Conflict and resolution skills.
- Highly developed presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing demands.
- Demonstrated ability to think commercially.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Strategic planning skills in order to develop initiatives (sales drivers) to achieve targeted results.
