We are looking for a motivated and creative part time salesperson to join our team and help grow our business in the exciting world of indoor playgrounds. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, design, and a desire to exceed customer expectations.
About the role
This is a part time role based in the Gold Coast, selling throughout Australia. The Business Development Manager is responsible for managing existing customer relationships through the delivery of exceptional customer service, and generating new sales opportunities
You will:
- Identify potential new customers and market our products and services to them including cold calling, EDM campaigns, etc.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide design recommendations to suit their business model and budget
- Negotiate sales and manage the sales process from start to finish
- Communicate effectively with both clients and design teams to ensure a successful outcome
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business
- Attend industry events and Expos, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the indoor playground industry
What you will need:
- Proven sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong spatial, creative and design skills, including ability to read plans and drawings
- Strong experience in CRM systems with Salesforce a distinct advantage
- Ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions
- Mindset to work productively, both independently and as part of a team
- Be able to travel both intrastate and interstate as required
- A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- While not essential any experience in the entertainment/play equipment industry is an advantage - your sales track record is more important
