In this Business Development role, your responsibilities include:
- Identify new business opportunities and follow up to close the deal
- Maintain, develop and build on existing relationships
- Negotiating directly with business owners and senior stakeholders
- Ensure timely and proper follow up process for all assigned leads and ongoing quotes, projects and general business
- Work with sales department to develop solutions for customers
- Participate in industry events
- Use of CRM to the system to manage the sales process and develop opportunities
The ideal candidate will process the following skills and attributes
- Proven sales/ BDM experience, within the textiles industry is a bonus but not necessary
- A full Australian driver license and ability to travel across VIC for meetings
- Must be driven, have determination, integrity, and good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated to achieve targets and acquire new clients
