MAYDAY has joined forces with a frontrunner among Australia's textiles wholesalers. This exciting opportunity will see the new Business Development Manager acquire new business partnerships, and maintain and expand existing relationships with current clients within the B2B space.

In this Business Development role, your responsibilities include:

• Identify new business opportunities and follow up to close the deal
• Maintain, develop and build on existing relationships
• Negotiating directly with business owners and senior stakeholders
• Ensure timely and proper follow up process for all assigned leads and ongoing quotes, projects and general business
• Work with sales department to develop solutions for customers
• Participate in industry events
• Use of CRM to the system to manage the sales process and develop opportunities

The ideal candidate will process the following skills and attributes

• Proven sales/ BDM experience, within the textiles industry is a bonus but not necessary
• A full Australian driver license and ability to travel across VIC for meetings
• Must be driven, have determination, integrity, and good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated to achieve targets and acquire new clients
