As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for executing existing sales strategies to ensure a steady revenue stream for the organisation. A key aspect of this position will be undertaking networking activities to identify new business opportunities and engage with new clients. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining and nurturing connections with our existing valued clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships that contribute to the business’ continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and areas for expansion
- Drive efforts to upsell and cross-sell to existing clients of The Epiphany Group (TEG) and The Change Network (TCN) to maximise revenue
- Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments to develop persuasive sales materials and a compelling value proposition.
- Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and trends, ensuring a thorough understanding of new product developments in the industry
- Ongoing monitoring and analysis of the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities and threats to develop effective sales strategies
- Analysis and interpretation of key sales performance metrics
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the leadership team
Experience
- At least 3 years sales experience with proven ability to identify, win and develop new business
- Experience in professional services is preferred
- Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset to drive Business Development initiatives, including achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking sales initiatives and projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management.
- Ability to think strategically with a high level of conceptual, innovative, analytic and problem solving skills.
