Business Development Manager

Maximise strategic Business Development and manage the sales process of major projects of this leading producer of mechanical pipe joining solutions.

Specialising in the most advanced engineering technologies and services of mechanical pipe joining solutions, this well established, successful, multinational business has thrived in this market sector for over 100 years.
Their products service clients in the Mining and Energy sectors, Construction, Fire Protection, Power Generation and Water Industries.
Servicing over 140 countries and with a workforce of over 5,000, an exciting role now exists for a Business Development Manager of Major Projects in WA.
The Reward

• Salary of $1600,000 - $180,000 + super + car allowance of $17,500

The Role

• Build strong and lasting relationships with owners, EPC/M’s and Constructors in the resources and energy sectors
• Consultatively guide clients through the product selection process
• Regularly follow up with specifiers/project managers to ensure success with project quotations
• Stay customer focused, ensuring the continued success of this high performing product

Skills and Experience

• Sound background in Business Development at senior management levels within the Resources and Energy sectors
• Engineering qualified or professional experience in Technical Sales
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales/growth targets
• Commercially savvy and aware
• Self-motivated with a desire to succeed
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Valid motor vehicle licence
