Job description

Central Telecoms is one of Australia's most successful regional B2B Telecoms/IT providers. We're on the lookout for an ambitious, friendly, happy, energetic, honest, confident and fresh B2B Sales Professional to help us take advantage of poor service levels from established telco suppliers, like Telstra and Optus. Following a phase of strong revenue and customer growth, we are expanding our amazing team!

The role is pure business to business and involves visiting local businesses around the Port Macquarie / Hastings area to generate telecoms leads for our ambitious and growing company. You must identify and qualify prospects and proactively reach out to them to grow our regional customer base. Services that we supply local businesses include:

  • Business NBN with Proactive Monitoring - we often know about outages before our customers do
  • Business Mobile Phone Plans - using the Telstra Wholesale network
  • Business Cloud-Base Phone Solutions - we have invested in our own cloud-PBX platform
  • IT Helpdesk - we are Microsoft partners and support small businesses with their niggling IT-related problems

Key responsibilities:

  • Outbound sales calls to attract them to our Storefront packages
  • Become a product and industry expert and use this knowledge to inspire prospects
  • Develop your sales skills and grow within your role
  • Collaborate and work with a great team to share success and win together

We are looking for some with:

  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal including being able to interact and work well with a variety of people
  • 2 years minimum B2B sales experience, proven outbound sales ability and overachieving set KPIs
  • IT/Telecommunications experience preferred
  • A passion for sales with energy and enthusiasm
  • Attention to detail and great organisational skills
  • A proactive and energetic approach
  • The ability to learn, grow and be coached so you can be your best self
