Forkbiz is an Australian owned National Forklift Company with branches in Sydney and Brisbane. We are a trusted dealer for Manitou Australia and Hyundai Forklifts Australia. We sell both new forklifts and quality second hand forklifts. Our customer base ranges from small companies with one forklift to the large multinational companies with large fleets, to which we maintain, repair and service to the highest quality both onsite and in our workshop. We also have a fleet of our own forklifts we hire both long term and short term.
About The Role:
Are you a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for sales and building long-term customer relationships? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the challenge of meeting and exceeding sales targets? If so, Forkbiz is looking for a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Generate new leads in both sales and hire.
- Provide prospective customers with quotes on either new forklifts, used forklifts or hire prices in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention (servicing).
- Conduct demonstrations to prospective clients highlighting the unique features and benefits of Forkbiz’s forklifts.
- Collaborate with the marketing manager to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry trends.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team on a regular basis.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales/Business Development, preferably in the material handling or related sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentations skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet business growth targets.
