Business Development Manager – Furniture Fittings

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Liaise, build relationships with & support our distributor network to generate new business opportunities, execute promotional strategies and account specific plans, drive results through engaging with end users in the market.
- Weekly update of a customer records management system (CRM) with details of all key personnel, customer activity and relevant product sales opportunities.
- Utilize existing relationships and your superior relationship building skills to create opportunities to present products and convey the features and benefits of our product range.
- Proactively seek opportunities in new market segments.
Key Competencies / Skills
- Previous experience in the Cabinet/Furniture Industry is highly recommended.
- Experience in working with distributors, distributor sales representatives with planning and managing joint calls.
- A passion for developing lasting relationships.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to influence.
- Self-motivated, persistent, and driven to succeed.
- Ability to work both autonomously, and within a team.
- Great organizational and time management skills.
- Communicate & liaise with management re market activity and recommendations.
Whilst preferably based in Qld, you must also be available to travel into other territories and regions within Australia/NZ at short notice.
