AddressUnited Development is seeking an experienced and innovative Business Development Manager Asia Pacific to spearhead our expansion efforts in the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on Australia and China. This role presents a unique opportunity to transform our substantial office space portfolio and forge strategic partnerships in a dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative strategies to repurpose and lease over 26,000 square meters of office space in a challenging market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including showrooms, exhibition spaces, and business services for Chinese import/export companies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local Australian and Chinese business communities
- Establish offshore connections with Chinese businesses and government authorities interested in import/export activities between Australia and China
- Create and execute marketing plans to attract diverse tenants and maximize space utilization
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential opportunities
- Negotiate and close leasing deals with prospective tenants
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new tenants
- Managing the organization's social and other online marketing efforts.
- Build the brand awareness of the World Trade Centre across the major capital cities in Australia.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Business Development, preferably in the real estate or international trade sectors
- Strong understanding of the Australian and Chinese business landscapes
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is required
- Willingness to travel overseas as required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, International Relations, or a related field
