Organisational growth has created an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarder Services based in Melbourne reporting to the National Product Manager – Freight Forwarder Services.
The Opportunity
As a Business Development Manager, you will spend a lot of your time on the road and be responsible for:
- Generating new business customers for Bonds Freight Forwarder Services.
- "Closing" New Sales opportunities.
- Prospecting for new clients, maintaining a detailed pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Achieving annual "new" business sales targets.
- Meeting and exceeding KPIs associated with growing our local, interstate and intrastate division.
- Acting as a contact for service and operational based queries relating to new business.
- Central point of contact for awarded new business within your portfolio.
- Provision of regular reporting relating to sales activity.
- Participating in tenders and RFP’s.
- Actively promoting all Bonds products and services to all new prospects and our existing customer base.
- Working independently and collaboratively with the wider Bonds team.
- Participating in weekly and monthly team meetings as required.
- Positively contributing to the organisation's culture by acting responsibly and in the best interest of Bonds.
