Position Overview:
Nook Tiny Homes is seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence in B2C, B2B, state and local government. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and developing strategic partnerships within the likes of government sector, construction, or related industries. This role requires a strategic and resourceful thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and fostering long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscape. Analyse customer needs and preferences to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Lead Generation and Management: Manage inbound and outbound lead channels whilst implementing growth based lead generation strategies to enhance pipeline development through the B2B, B2C and Business to Government sectors.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets. Identify and engage with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive sales of Tiny Homes and related services.
- Partnership Development: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with real estate developers, government bodies and other industry professionals. Negotiate and manage contracts to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Brand & Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and attract new customers. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Nook Tiny Homes.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on Business Development activities, sales performance, and market trends. Use data and insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and finance, to ensure alignment and support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior Business Development, sales, or marketing role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of industry market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships and relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

As the successful applicant, you would expect to earn a base salary plus uncapped commission with OTE $200k.
