This role is a rewarding opportunity to engage with your local community including businesses, job seekers, high schools, mature age learners and program participants to create meaningful pathways for ongoing learning and employment outcomes. You will play an important role in the continuous development of the Novaskill Qualification & Training profile within Newcastle.
Duties Include:
- Sales and sign ups of training and employment opportunities
- Management of trainee/ student and employer relationships
- Promotion of vocational learning
- Developing links with local businesses, employment providers, high schools and community
About You:
- Highly organised
- Passion for helping others
- Motivated go-getter that can find an opportunity in every situation
- Is happy to work out in the community, as part of a team and/or in an autonomous capacity.
Ideally, you’ve worked in the vocational education sector before, have experience in a sales-type role and know the local community well and can build relationships with ease.
We do quite a few things but primarily, we are a Registered Training Organisation which means we have incredible trainers that teach students new skills and Nationally Recognised qualifications. Your job would be to find students to study with us (in a huge range of ways and in a number of industry vocations) and businesses willing to upskill their staff (in a traineeship arrangement). We have lots of experienced staff to support you and show you all in incredible reasons why studying at Novaskill can be life changing for our students and why upskilling staff in formal training arrangements, benefits everyone involved.
