Business Development Officer
- Part time (0.6 FTE), Temporary to December 2024
- Band 6, Starting Salary $88,418 (pro rata) plus superannuation

The role
Working within our Economic Development team, this role has focus on supporting local businesses and organisations strive.
You will support key external organisations including Bendigo Stadium, Golden Dragon Museum, Discovery Science and Technology Centre, Bendigo Showgrounds and Bendigo Heritage Attractions by being the main council operational contract to help them realise their strategic potential, financial viability and community benefit.
Being the key contact, this role will facilitate requests into other areas of the Council including but not limited to, Building and Property, Planning and Parks & Open Space.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in project management and Business Development, excellent customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, enjoy supporting our community and have a customer service focus.
A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
This is a part time, 3 day a week position, with flexibility on the days/hours worked.
