If yes, we want to hear from you! We are looking for someone “amazing” that has a passion for all things lending. At BankWAW, we are focused on customer-benefit, community involvement, fairer fees and superior levels of service. Our Business Development Officers are critical to making this happen and are responsible for helping our customers achieve financial security and independence by providing better lending packages.
This role will suit someone that has already established themselves as a personal banker and has dipped their toes into the home and commercial lending space and are now ready to prepare for their next career step.
During a typical day you will:
- Develop lending and analytical skills to ensure quick turnaround times for home loan approvals
- Achieve success against key performance indicators
- Work as an effective part of a team within the retail branch and wider lending team
- Have in-depth needs-based discussions with customers to accurately identify the suitability of products and services
- Prepare loan documentation
- Develop your lending portfolio through strong community involvement
- Promote and adhere to the organizations' values of trust, co-operation and care for customers

What do you need to succeed?
- High level of understanding of lending products, bank branch operations and regulations
- Extensive experience in customer service / retail
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and reliability handling data and information
- Ability to problem solve and work under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong network and active community involvement
- Client centric with a high level of professionalism
