- Identify and pursue Business Development opportunities through existing and new customers
- Manage the pipeline of opportunities to deliver new business growth
- Proactively contribute to the achievement of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality initiatives (SHEQ)
- Implement new customers and enroll their business processes
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, such as the Business Development Manager, Marketing Manager, and production staff
- Research and gather market intelligence
- Manage customer projects end to end
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not essential
- Experience as a Business Development Specialist, Business Developer, or Account Manager
- Experience in the waste- or related industries
- Strong verbal and relationship building skills
- Analytic skills with the ability to navigate to technical components
- Residing in the Melbourne area and possessing full working rights
