The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Business Improvement Specialist - Operations and Maintenance to join our team on a 12 month Max Term basis.
Reporting to the Manager Operations and Maintenance Support & Strategy, you will play a key role in supporting our Operations and Maintenance teams across APA. This role will lead reviews and rewrites of our Safe Systems of Work, including PTW, Isolation and LOTO.
The role is flexible with employees able to be based out of any of our key APA offices with he ability to work in a hybrid way from both home and office.
Key Responsibilities
- Business improvement in terms of Safe Systems of Work
- Investigating emerging technology and applications within this remit
- Exploring opportunities for improvement and benchmarking processes against markets
- Standardisation and alignment of current processes related to O&M
- Provide technical knowledge input to learning solutions for the development of operation training content and competency framework.
- Lead change management processes for initiatives in your remit
- Experience working in an Operational environment with exposure to Safe Systems of Work
- Experienced in driving process improvement and leading change.
- Proven ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes.
- Ability to produce clear and concise reports and documents.
- Tertiary qualifications or work experience in related area
