About You
We are seeking a down to earth individual who has a demonstrated hands-on approach, be able to think on their feet and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
You are a passionate and experienced Leader with the ability to build credible relationships with key stakeholders to deliver the right choices, achieved through the development of trust across all people we work with.
If you have previous experience within the Employment Services Sector that would be highly regarded.
You will utilise your knowledge and experience to lead a team that create opportunities and improve the lives of people at all levels of community.
Required attributes include:
Ability to Demonstrate empathy and adequate cultural competence when dealing with people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds.
Ability to collaborate with others and understand the behaviour, needs and concerns using this to work effectively with the people we work with.
Excellent communication skills with the demonstrated ability to listen to others and convey information clearly, accurately, logically and concisely, whilst being friendly and approachable.
Ability to work independently, using best judgment at all times to make effective decisions.
Confidence and knowledge to lead a team, driving positive outcomes.
With our coverage across NSW, travel will be required with the role, including nights away from home, and you will hold a current C class driver’s licence.
You will have (or be prepared to obtain) a NSW Working With Children Check and National Criminal History Check.

About the Role
With your base site negotiable across our Central West NSW offices, this role will see you provide direction and leadership to staff across a range of employment services and other programs and lead daily operational requirements. You will be responsible for business outcomes within your teams and have a passion for excellence.
You will engage and coordinate employment services programs and projects across sites, engaging with clients, education and training providers, business organisations, other community partnerships and key stakeholders to support Joblink Plus achieve its purpose and gain our clients sustainable employment whilst ensuring effective people leadership and quality service delivery.
Some specific responsibilities will include:
Work closely and in collaboration with other Leaders of programs to ensure a consistent, unified and proactive approach, and support all programs on site.
Assess local and regional market conditions, identify value-add products, services and business opportunities that support placements and outcomes.
Lead business development and employer/industry relationships to establish placement opportunities and achieve client employment outcomes.
Maintain effective communication between staff and other business units.
Conduct individual and team meetings with staff with a focus on positive communication and proactive feedback.
Lead site/s budgets, ensuring compliance, documentation and reporting accuracy.
Leading and managing a team of Job Placement Consultants across multiple sites, proactively dealing with employee issues when required.
