About the Role
The Business Manager 2 works with the school principal and school executive and is responsible for the efficient management of the school’s business functions including administration, asset management, procurement, finance and work health and safety.
May be required to supervise and lead the school administrative team and supervise non-teaching staff. The role may lead or manage projects or business functions in collaboration with other school staff and additionally may be required to manage the work of contractors from time to timeEssential Requirements
- Working with Children Check Clearance
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Department’s Aboriginal Education and Training policy.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake and manage financial and accounting functions including the use of computerised financial /administrative systems.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with school staff, students and members of the school community.

Additional School Information (Optional)Mudgee High is a rural comprehensive school catering for 800 students from Years 7-12, 13% of whom identify as ATSI. The school is in the Central West of New South Wales in a region well-known for its tourism, viticulture and gastronomic offerings. The school celebrated its centenary in 2016 and possesses a well-respected history of academic, cultural and sporting achievement.
