AstraZeneca Respiratory and Immunology (R&I) is driven by our ambition to transform Respiratory & Immunology care for patients, moving beyond symptom control to disease modification, remission and, one day, cure.
We currently have two positions available, one in NSW and one in VIC, for a Business Manager (Immunology) to join the R&I Business Unit. This is a great opportunity to join our dynamic team with a new product launch in Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Reporting to the Business Unit Head you will be joining a cohesive and supportive team as a foundational member of the sales team to deliver outstanding sales results and challenge the traditional way of interacting with our customers.
What you'll do
You will be fully empowered and have complete responsibility for building and owning Account Plans in collaboration with the cross functional team, to exceed customer expectations and generate outstanding sales results. You will also:

- Using feedback to innovate solutions, navigate through change and make timely decisions.

Essential for the role
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry sales experience in Rheumatology
- Proven track record of success in sales performance within Rheumatology
- Experience selling to hospital specialists and knowledge of the Rheumatology and Immunology market
- A deep understanding of the patient journey at each key account in the region and an ability to break through barriers with innovative solutions
- Experience with a broad base of external customers in the VIC & NSW health network, including patients, prescribers, payors, providers
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills and demonstrated project/team/cross-functional leadership
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in life sciences, medical or pharmacy
Desirable for the role
- A track record of successfully developing key accounts and a sound knowledge of protocol development
- Demonstrated exposure of building long positive relationships with both internal and external customers in complex clinical environments
- The ability to think strategically and be entrepreneurial
