About the Position:
The Business Planning and Risk Advisor role has been newly created to contribute to the delivery of the City’s integrated Planning and reporting framework ensuring that the City’s Business Planning and reporting practices remain contemporary and aligned with industry best practice.
Reporting directly to the Planning, Performance and Risk Manager you will work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation to support them through the annual integrated planning cycle, your primary responsibilities will include:
- ensuring the integration of the risk management process into the annual planning cycle
- analysis and reporting of data and organisational performance information.
- providing advice on risks and ensuring risk registers are maintained
- embedding the City’s Risk Management Plan, Business Continuity Plans and Fraud and Corruption Plan into the planning process
This full-time role is designed to suit an experienced practitioner who is looking for a new and more diverse role with purpose, lots of variety and opportunity for professional development.
About the Person:
As a Business Planning and Risk Advisor you will possess knowledge and experience in corporate risk management. Knowledge of Business Planning processes and experience in the delivery of high-quality reports and data extraction and analysis will be highly regarded. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate their ability to problem solve and drive improvements, and has well-developed stakeholder management skills that will allow them to build effective relationships and deliver outcomes.
The successful person will be required to have a tertiary education or relevant experience and knowledge in corporate risk management, business improvement or Business Planning.
