About the Position:
Working within the Governance and Strategy team this new Business Planning and Risk Advisor role will contribute to the delivery of the City’s integrated Planning and reporting framework, including the integration of the risk management process into the annual planning cycle.
Reporting to the Planning, Performance and Risk Manager, the successful applicant will work closely with and support key stakeholders through the annual integrated planning cycle, including analysis and reporting of data and organisational performance information.
You will continue to embed the City’s Risk Management Plan, Business Continuity Plans and Fraud and Corruption Plan into the planning process, providing advice on risks and ensuring risk registers are maintained.
About the Person:
As a Business Planning & Risk Advisor you will need comprehensive knowledge and experience in Business Planning as well as knowledge and experience in the delivery of high-quality reports and data extraction and analysis. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate their ability to problem solve and drive improvements, and has well-developed stakeholder management skills that will allow them to build effective relationships and deliver outcomes.
The successful person will be required to have a tertiary education or relevant experience in business improvement or Business Planning and have experience in and knowledge of enterprise risk management.
