Genus Fleet Management forms part of the GenusPlus Group, a rapidly growing ASX listed company. The Genus Fleet workshop is based in Kenwick, and is supported by many smaller depots around the state, as well as nationwide.
The Role
Our team are currently seeking experienced, enthusiastic and driven candidates to fill the role of Business Support Officer (BSO). There are two roles currently available, one on 6 month fixed-term, part-time basis (2 days per week) with potential to extend; the other is for Casual temporary coverage from 24th June – 15th July.
The successful candidate will have a strong administration background in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the mining, construction or resource industries. Reporting directly to the Fleet & Workshop Manager, the BSO's role is to coordinate and carry out the day-to-day administrative tasks to assist with fleet, contract and supplier management, as well as employee onboarding.
Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Monitor and track all fleet and maintenance work and maintain accurate records.
- Onboarding of personnel (Medicals, Inductions, Site Access, PPE, Travel).
- Maintenance of personnel records, training, and registers.
- Liaise with Project Managers across all Genus entities including sourcing information on site-specific requirements for personnel, vehicles, plant, and machinery.
- Assist with purchasing requirements.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- High level customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Intermediate level Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
- High efficiency and accuracy of typing and word processing.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work co-operatively and effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems, manage and meet deadlines and maintain high quality of work.
