The Role
As part of the State Underwriting Team, the State Business Support Officer provides administration support to the Underwriting team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of business onto the in-house insurance system.
In addition, the Business Support Officer provides administrative and documentation support to Underwriters.
Key Responsibilities
- Register all new/renewals submissions
- Manage electronic communications received
- Check closings received from broker and electronic filing
- Handle account inquiries
- Produce policy documentation
The Candidate - Skills, Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate
Essential;
- Secondary School Certificate
- Minimum 1+ years admin experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle high volume workload
- Excellent communication skills
Desired;
- Previous insurance experience highly advantageous
