The Role
Our team are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and driven candidate to fill the role of Business Support Officer (BSO) on a part-time or casual basis.
The successful candidate will have a strong administration background in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the electrical, construction or resource industries. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the BSO's role is to coordinate and carry out the day-to-day administrative tasks to assist with data entry.
Primary responsibilities:
- Maintenance of personnel records, training, and registers.
- Liaise with office staff and the operations manager, including sourcing information on site-specific requirements for personnel.
- Assist with purchasing requirements.
- Data Entry – Dial Before You Dig & Mapping
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
- High efficiency and accuracy of typing and word processing.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work co-operatively and effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems, manage and meet deadlines and maintain high quality of work.
