Who we are.

Managed Construction Solutions specialises in the design, construction, and maintenance of Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) across South Australia. With over 10 years of experience in the delivery of road network projects, we pride ourselves on our industry-leading service and quality. We work closely with a range of public sector and private organisations on a variety of short and long-term projects. We are proudly a South Australian owned and operated company with various capabilities across the electrical, communications and civil infrastructure industries.

About the role.

Due to consistent growth across the business, we are searching for a Business Support Officer to join our team based in Dudley Park, Adelaide. The successful candidate will provide high level administrative support to the Managing Director across various functions within the business.

As a key member of our administrative team, you will have the opportunity to support many areas of the business and be the first point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders.  

Some of the duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • General office management duties.
  • Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities using our job management system.
  • Maintenance of HSEQ compliance records and documentation.
  • Project administration tasks to support our Project Managers, including ordering of materials, monitoring project expenses, and staff work-related travel itineraries.
  • Support the Managing Director in various PA duties.
  • Other general administration support tasks as required.
About you.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in administration or customer service, preferably within the electrical, construction or utilities industries (although this is not essential). Your positive, can-do attitude and ability to learn new skills will see you thrive in this role. To be successful you will have:

  • Experience in a similar administration support role with skills in data entry and project finance highly regarded
  • A people-focused approach with excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently without supervision
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills 
  • Proficient skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • A current Driver’s Licence
