About the Role:
We are continually looking for enthusiastic and talented people to join our team.
Our Newcastle NSW office is currently seeking a Business Support Officeron a permanent part-time basis.
The Office Administrator works closely with the Business Support team, taking direction from senior team members and the Business Support Manager to look after the office, ensure the office building is maintained and that staff have the tools and resources they need to work, providing administrative support as required.
Key responsibilities and activities include:
• Be the first point of contact for answering phone calls, directing calls and taking messages where required, as well as greeting visitors to the office
• Assist staff with queries, with direction from senior members of the Business Support team
• Maintain tidiness of office reception, general office areas and kitchen
• Assist staff with meeting room set up and manage office calendars
• Order stationery and kitchen supplies for the office (milk, fruit, coffee beans etc.)
• Assist with creating and maintaining CV’s for staff and updating the CV database as required
• Organise staff uniform and PPE orders and ensure a supply is maintained within the office
• Post office/distribute mail and couriers
• Scanning, electronic filing and printing documentation and reports as required
Knowledge, Skill and Experience requirements include:
• A diploma and/or certificate in Business or Business Administration would be highly regarded.
• Previous experience in a similar role (office support, administration and/or customer service)
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Ability to work within a team and also independently with direction from senior staff
