Job Description:QIC has a truly exciting and innovative new opportunity for a
Business Systems Analyst on a maximum term contract until 1st July 2025.We want this person to be passionate about driving technological innovation and facilitating seamless collaboration between business and technology teams.In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of new technology platforms into our business. Acting as a translator between the business and technology teams, you will leverage your expertise in business process and systems analysis to define and validate technical solutions that support our needs, goals, and objectives across various projects, Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities, and small initiatives.
What will you be doing?- You will be serving as the liaison between the business and technology teams, understanding the current state of the organisation and facilitating the definition and validation of the technical solutions.
- You will be conducting a hands-on business process and systems analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
- You will be engaging in all phases of the software delivery lifecycle, including planning, design, build, test, and deployment, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of technology platforms.
- You will be utilising structured improvement approaches to identify and address existing process challenges, capturing business unit inputs and ensuring consideration of associated risks and change impacts.
What we are looking for:- The most important characteristic trait is someone who has a high degree of critical thinking awareness. Someone who can demonstrate these skills in previous work experience and has a strong level of emotional intelligence to work across the business with the key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a Business Technology Analysis or Consulting role with a strong understanding of business process and technology solutions
- Proficiency in conducting business process and system analysis with hands on experience in the software delivery lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for identifying process improvements.
- Direct experience and expertise that is inclusive of in SaaS (and associated PaaS / IaaS) implementations, together with support of system integrations, data analysis / migration, and control / reporting requirements.
- Business Analyst certification, BABOK, or similar, Lean Six Sigma (or similar) training / certification, Qualified Agile user stories experience are all highly desirable.
