Job Description:
As the Café Manager at Wohlers in Tanunda, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our café, ensuring outstanding service, quality, and efficiency. Your role will involve managing staff, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, maintaining inventory, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead, train, and motivate café staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement efficient processes to improve service speed and quality.
- Monitor inventory levels & order supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the café's visibility and appeal.
- Work closely & take instructions from Wohlers Cafe coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Café Manager or in a similar hospitality role.
- RSA and Supervisor level food hygiene course completion.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management and ordering.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
