About the role
The position is a hands-on role requiring you to work and oversee all operations of this venue. Reporting directly to the owner and focusing on customer satisfaction and subsequently sales growth. You will be the sole person responsible for all operations with approximately 10 employees to manage. This is a full time role and requires up to five days a week over a 7 day rotating roster.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Responsibilities: The Store Manager of Kicco McLaren Vale is accountable for the efficient and profitable operation of the store, ensuring adherence to Kicco's high standards in product quality and customer service.
- Guidelines and Standards: The manager must comply with Kicco's branding, product display, team presentation, and customer service guidelines strictly.
- Training and Supervision: It's the manager's duty to train and supervise the team to uphold Kicco's recipes, maintain product quality, and deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with work health, food hygiene, and safety standards is crucial. This includes safe work practices, cleaning, sanitising, and safe food handling and storage.
- Building Relationships: The manager should foster positive relationships with customers, staff, suppliers and other traders in the centre, actively promoting Kicco McLaren Vale to their staff and encouraging them to become regular customers.
- Stock Management: The manager must maintain sufficient stock levels, ensure effective product displays, and train staff to sell core and special products knowledgeably.
- Utilisation of Technology: Effective use of Kicco's store management technologies is essential for planning peak periods, rostering staff efficiently to maximise sales opportunities, and maintain high service standards.
Qualifications & experience
- Formal qualifications in safe food storage, handling and hygiene practices (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum 2 years experience in a retail supervisory level role.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the retail café, restaurant, hotel, winery or hospitality industry.
