Our growing Café business in Sydney Airport is seeking a full time experienced Cafe Manager to manage Cafe & Juice bar business and drive our business to next level.
The Cafe Manager will lead the team in all aspects of daily operations and is responsible for the successful and profitable running of the business.
The ideal candidate must have experience of managing café business and will be self-motivated and have experience in leading, supervising and training team members in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong ability to supervise and lead other staff
- Staff recruitment experience
- Managing staff roster
- Create new menu for the business
- Cost control and promote business
- Stock ordering and stock control.
- Oversee & assist with food and beverage preparation.
- Maintain store environment clean, food handling and safety standard at all times.
- Identify and address issues.
- Managing operations procedures improvement.
- Managing rostering, cost control, working towards budgets.
Skills and experience
- 3+ year's proven experience of a similar role in managing café environment
- Great food and coffee knowledge
- A passion for service and passion for hospitality
- Strong communication skills and ability.
- Reliable, honest and punctual
- Be able to motivate a team and achieve performance targets.
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Customer service and attentiveness is essential
- Must have own reliable transport.
- Must be flexible on weekend and public holiday.
