Cafe/Restaurant Manager responsibilities include:
* Maintaining the restaurant’s revenue and quality goals. You will ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintaining high productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
* Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House operations.
* Hire and train qualified chefs and wait staff, and set work schedules.
* Overseeing stock levels, ordering supplies, food prep and ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.
* Promoting and marketing the business.
* Assessing and improving profitability.
* Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
* Respond efficiently and accurately to customer enquiries and complaints.
* Regularly review product quality.
* Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
* Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
* Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
* Create and present detailed reports (staffing/sales) on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
* Keeping statistical and financial records.
* Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future Cafe/Restaurant operations.
Requirements and skills:
* Proven work experience as a Cafe/Restaurant Manager, Cafe/Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role.
* Proven customer service experience as a manager in a multicultural environment.
* Extensive knowledge and experience of different Filipino food and beverage, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.
* Familiarity with Cafe/Restaurant management software, like Qiki.
* Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
* Acute financial management skills.
