About The Role:This full-time hybrid role will have you zipping around Melbourne, meeting clients and making things happen. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you'll be the vital link between major key clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Create and nurture solid, trusting relationships with major clients through outbound sales meetings.
- Client Understanding: Get to know key customer needs inside and out.
- Customer Solutions: Continuously propose solutions to meet customer objectives.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure our products and services are delivered on time, every time.
- Communication Hub: Be the go-to contact between clients and our internal teams.
- Issue Resolution: Tackle any issues or complaints to maintain customer trust.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare regular progress and forecast reports using key account metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with QA, R&D, and other departments to ensure top-notch quality.
- Sales Maximization: Collaborate with the sales team to up-sell and cross-sell.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 4+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Area Management.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry, especially with wholesale food ingredients/distributors.
- Knowledge of oils like palm oil, vegetable oil, and dairy or gelato is a plus.
- A dynamic, sales-motivated individual with a hunter mindset and a passion for sales.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated, passionate, results-focused, and proactive with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
